Privacy policy
Last updated 11 July 2026. Only what we need to run your booking, kept only as long as the law asks.
Who we are
Ocean Jet Ski and Boat Tenerife runs guided jet ski safaris and watersports from Marina San Miguel, Pantalán H, 38639 San Miguel de Abona, Tenerife, Spain. For anything related to your personal data, write to oceanjetski8@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what we need to run your booking:
- Name, phone number and email, when you book a tour, buy a gift voucher, or fill in the booking form.
- Your messages, when you contact us on WhatsApp (+34 612 456 219), by phone or by email.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We do not run advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To take, confirm, reschedule and manage your booking or voucher (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions and send booking-related messages (legitimate interest, or your request).
- To meet legal obligations, such as invoicing and safety records required under Spanish law.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.
How long we keep it
Booking and voucher details are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and then for the periods Spanish tax and commercial law require (generally up to 6 years for invoicing records). WhatsApp conversations are kept only as long as useful for handling your booking, then deleted.
Who else touches your data
Three service providers process data on our behalf, each only for its job:
- TuriTop, our reservation system, which processes online bookings and payments.
- WhatsApp (Meta): when you choose to message us there, Meta processes those messages under its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider, which hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
- Google Maps, which draws the map on the home page. Loading that map means your browser contacts Google, under Google's own privacy policy.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to:
- See the data we hold about you (access).
- Fix it if it is wrong (rectification).
- Delete it (erasure), or limit or object to how we use it.
- Receive it in a portable format (portability).
Just email oceanjetski8@gmail.com and we will reply within a month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the AEPD.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the booking page.
